Sorry for being late. Radius depend on how much side room we have behind reveal. if side room is 500 mm we can go with 420 radius. For shorter side room 520 radius is necessary.

@@drogon2988 depends on the size of your shed. For me the sliding door will fit neatly between the outer wall and the false inner wall. Shed being 15 mtr long, 8 mtr wide and 6 mtr high.
You could have a false wall in front of them.

In the uk? I have this style but very old, build from wood and steel. Looking to refurb/ refresh but keep what I can but the floor runner in completely rusted and destroyed
Hi, yes in the UK. We use aluminium hardware. My advice is to replace the door. Finally matching new parts with a 40 - 60-year-old door usually is more expensive rather than installing a brand new door. Please contact sales@ryterna.co.uk for a quote.
wouldn't an idler wheel at both ends keep the door closed tight against the building, there by eliminating the floor track ?
It works on a one-piece sliding door on the straight guiding rail. Not good for sliding around the corner sectional door.
Looks great, but the threshold and guids look like tripping hazards .... couldn't you come up with a simple method to eliminate that ?
The car-friendly aluminium threshold is 20 mm high. HD UPVC bottom support blocks fixed with approx 1-metre intervals are 27 mm high from floor level and 100 mm wide. It can cause some inconvenience for elderly people. Another option is a groove recessed into the floor which requires maintenance and drainage.

The threshold is 18mm High but how much space is needed above the lintel. I cannot fin dimensions any where.
120 mm. If if it is too short we have a special aluminium lintel profile which is 120 mm high and is fixed to the ciling.
Not bad but this design limits the ability to add wall shelving on the brick wall.
Any door type has its own drawbacks. Actually you are choosing a type which matches your situation best.
